Matt Case Grew up locally in Fredericksburg and began playing drums early in high school. In 2004 he graduated from Berklee College of Music in with a BM Composition /cum ladde/. At Berklee Matt studied drumset with Rod Morganstein (Winger, Dixie Dregs, Jazz is Dead, Rudess Morganstein Project), orchestral percussion with Richard Flanagan (Boston Symphony and Boston Pops), and composition with Andrew List and John Bavicchi. Since college Matt has been teaching private lessons, working with area high school drumlines, and performing with various local artists. His orchestral experience extends through the Rappanhanok Pops Orchestra, Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra, Friday Morning Music Club Orchestra, and Fredericksburg Community Concert Band.
